Counting to 365.

There are 365 days in a year and we made this one count 

From car camping to international trips there were memories made and laughter had

Abby and a friend tried to walk through a drive through for ice cream and got denied 

Michelle fell in a mud hole and got stuck

David was awake past his bedtime to walk Abby home from work … and he never left his couch 

There are 365 days in a year and we made this one count 

We had covid shots one, two, and three but tossed in some fun facts along the way

Abby has been masking 24/7 at work as of April 1st, 2020

Michelle started volunteering again 

David packed a house out by himself 

There are 365 days in a year and we made this one count 

We worked in and out of the office. 

Abby did inpatient care

Michelle made video calls 

David tellaworked from home 

There are 365 days in a year and we made this one count 

It's not to say it was all fun and games, there were mishaps, too

Abby had a toilet pipe explode in her apartment

Michelle broke her arm in the first week of the year. 

David had to find a spot in the family routines 

There are 365 days in a year and we made this one count 

Some monumental occasions came to pass

Abby and Athena together for a year in June. Abby’s two year Mayo anniversary was in July

Michelle walked another comino 

David retired on December 31st 

There are 365 days in a year and we made this one count 

To the next 365 days I say 

bring on your best, your worst and everything in between
